You know that full-heart/happy-tastebuds feeling you get when you find something that's both delicious AND allergen free? That’s what The Teal Bakery is thrilled to be able to offer you. Our baked goods are made in our home bakery with the finest, most delicious, ingredients, all of which are produced in allergen-free facilities (free from dairy, egg, soy, peanut, treenut, fish and shellfish). We can work with whatever allergens or preferences you have to come up with the perfect treat for you! We have gluten and wheat free options that can be baked on separate days. We do use the same kitchen and oven; however, as a food allergy family we take every precaution with cleaning in order to reduce likelihood of cross contact. Order your cakes, cookies, and treats from us for your special event, or as a treat for someone sweet. Nothing shows you care more than freshly baked *safe* goods. We’d love to hear from you about how we can help.

These two are the reason The Teal Bakery exists. P is allergic to dairy and egg, and E is allergic to peanut, and in the past we've had to eliminate treenuts, legumes, buckwheat, and peas. We know firsthand how hard it is to live with food allergies and we wanted to offer others in a similar situation a small normalcy like ordering a birthday cake, graduation cupcakes or cookies for a family gathering. Whether you or someone you know has food allergies or whether you're looking for delicious vegan or gluten free desserts to make an event special or inclusive, you've come to the right place. Trust me, they'll never know it's allergy friendly.

Hi! I'm Danielle, the baker and mama, and this is my family. Adam and I moved to Northwest Houston in 2017 and are happy to start this new adventure here. P and E are excited to be along for the ride (and the taste testing!)

What We’re All About
The Teal Bakery is a home bakery operating in Northwest Houston, TX, specializing in baking allergy friendly treats.
We got the idea to start this business after learning firsthand about the need for allergy friendly baked goods. I would have LOVED to order cupcakes that my kiddos could eat safely. Learning to bake allergen free almost 5 years ago has been a joy and challenge, but seeing the look on our kids' faces when we come up with something spectacular is priceless. I love trying to remake family favorites or master a seemingly impossible dessert. I would love to come up with something safe for your family, too!
